Beluga whale along the coast

We will take special trips to search for unusual or rare whales.  In 2009 our Whale Study Weeks included several excursions to look for a coastal beluga.  Almost all of our Newfoundland Adventure guests saw the same beluga in 2009.  If the winter ice conditions are not too severe, this individual may also be in the area during the summer of 2010.
