Cape Race Iceberg
A springtime iceberg drifts past Cape Race. On April 14, 1912 the world’s most famous iceberg was drifting a little more than 350 miles SSE of this famous headland. On the other side of Titanic’s iceberg at Cape Race was a bold new technology and skilled Marconi wireless operators including Walter Grey, classmate and friend to Jack Phillips, Marconi wireless operator on Titanic.
