Dave Snow, President, Wildland Tours   Every year we are approached by families seeking a fun but planned family vacation. Some years we are lucky and an organization like Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth allows us to share the province with parents and their student-age children. However, most other times families are reluctant to have their children join touring groups of adventurous travelers who were not anticipating that they will be traveling to remote areas with kids. After numerous requests from families we are pleased to introduce our Newfoundland Family Wildlife Adventure for parents and grandparents travelling with student-aged kids. This trip is not all about wildlife as we will also be experiencing the local geology and culture. It does make a wonderful vacation for anybody with a keen sense of curiosity including kids considering a future in marine biology.  It is a warm and exciting experience for anyone who wants a safe and adventurous family vacation featuring wild, adventurous days and comfortable nights in an outstanding hotel. My children and I look forward to sharing our home and this gentle travel adventure with you.
