This orca group from 2008 was still together during our 2009 expedition

The Southern Labrador Adventure is a gentle expedition where we attempt to document the orca or killer whales in Newfoundland and Labrador waters.  This group of three animals was photographed during our time in Battle Harbour in 2008 and again in 2009.  The Battle Harbour ferry operator reported that they killed a minke whale soon after we left Battle Harbour in 2008.
